What New Jersey Homeowners Are Saying

Quick, clean, and professional. They edged all the beds before mulching and the property looks sharp. Fair price and easy to schedule. We will be using them every spring.

Hired M&C for a full landscape refresh. New beds, plantings, and edging completely changed the curb appeal of our house. They clearly know which NJ plants hold up here. Highly recommend.

Got a few quotes for a backyard patio and M&C was the most thorough. The finished paver patio came out beautiful and on budget. Could not ask for more.

FAQs

Common questions about hardscaping and paver work in New Jersey.

Do you require a deposit?

For smaller services like mulching or routine landscaping, payment is typically due on completion. For larger hardscape projects such as paver patios and walkways, we collect a deposit to schedule the job and order materials, with the balance due at completion.

How much does a paver patio cost?

Paver patio pricing depends on size, the paver style you choose, site prep, and any add-ons like seating walls or steps. Because every project is different, the best way to get an accurate number is a free on-site estimate. Call or text (908) 578-5587 to set one up.

How long does a paver patio installation take?

Most residential paver patios take a few days to a week, depending on size, access, and features. Proper excavation and base work take the most time, and they're what make the patio last. We'll give you a timeline with your estimate.

Why does the base under pavers matter so much?

The base is everything. A paver surface is only as stable as the compacted gravel and bedding sand beneath it. We excavate to the right depth, compact in layers, and set proper edge restraints so your pavers stay level and don't shift or sink over time.

Will my pavers shift, sink, or get weeds between them?

Not when they're installed correctly. A properly compacted base prevents shifting and sinking, and we finish joints with polymeric sand that locks pavers together and resists weeds and washout. Occasional maintenance keeps them looking sharp for years.

Do pavers need to be sealed?

Sealing is optional but worthwhile. It helps protect against stains, enhances color, and stabilizes joint sand. We can seal your pavers as part of the install or as a separate service, just ask.
